Treat people how you’d like to be treated regardless of their position. Whether you are dealing upward, sideways or downward, relationships make a huge difference.

 

I love what I do because…

There is nothing more rewarding than making a difference for someone, whether it is understanding their insurance program, helping manage a catastrophic claim or advocating for them.

 

The key to running a business is…

Great people, a strategic plan (short-term and long-term) and a product or service that is value added.

 

Never be afraid of…

Taking a risk. Often we just need someone to say, “I believe in you! You can do it!” to feel comfortable going into unchartered territory.

Trust. You gain that trust by always doing the right thing for your client, even when it doesn’t benefit you.

It’s OK to laugh at yourself. Have a sense of humor!
